A repository of 'spare ideas' for the MMC.
Have an idea that would make a great topic for the MMC?
Add it to this thread!

Have you just won the MMC and now need to pick the next subject?
Choose one or get inspiration from these suggestions.

I'll begin:

The 'Dali Style' seemed very popular...in that same spirit, choose
'Artist X Style' (Escher, Giger, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, etc.- Pick your favorite)

'What Grandpa Saw'

'In the Junk Drawer'

'What's behind the shed'

'Heirloom'

'Coffee'

'Watercraft'

'My pet'

'Change of season'

'Bicycle'

'Model an Object X' Winner chooses 'X'

'Magic'

'On Vacation'

'An accident waiting to happen'

....

Now, add some of your own ...

'Spare tire'

'Loose cannon'

'Flotsam and jetsam'

'In a bit of a pickle'

'Oh no, not again'

'Speed is everything'

'The butterfly effect'

'Pebble'

Could go on and on, but I'll just stop. Though might be back later to throw out more freeform associations!

- Theme: Take it from there.

The host gives the beginning of a story and the contestant is challenged to "take it from there". The image could tell the rest of the story as the contestant invents it or give a glimpse of some event ... just make it related to the story beginning.

My version: (In cowboy/western accent) Nobody in Dry Gulch really know'd what day it was. It 'uz hot 'n dusty like ever' day. It 'uz the day Shame Haggert road in ta town. His folks give 'em away when he's real little. He never know'd why they named 'em that. Don't matter. Done plenty since to earn it. ... Take it from there!

- Natural disaster. Hurricane, flood, avalanche, tsunami, volcano, earthquake, fire ...

- Weather phenomena. Tornado, lightning, cold, heat, rain, snow ...

- Underwater things.

- Shipwreck.

- Treasure in treasure chest.

- Things along Route 66. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=route+66&iax=1&ia=images

- Motels.

-- Behind the question mark. Model whatever you want to but keep part of it hidden inside a box or other shape with a question mark. The mystery of what is hidden is only revealed in the final picture.
