I can't remember how its done in TS but in Thea you add a black n white image, or greyscale or with a alpha channel into the clipping channel, anything black doesn't render, plain white will and anything else goes on the grey brightness

I think there's some pre made material for wire mesh in Truespace.
But its a real timesaver, if you have a wire mesh fence or railings that don't need to detailed its a godsend.. or you can use displacement to get some curves

Ahhh, alpha masks on the model side, got it...

Would really like to see how you do the windows and railings with clip mapping, Rayman...

Check out this diorama artist.
Especially this one.

Wishing I could get in on this MMC but the renderbeast is still dead.

Wish you could do a shipwreck too Spacekdet. Welcome aboard Leon.

I won't have time to make one but I did get an idea that I'll do someday.

Lots of quality models. JamesMC has a whole fleet!

Hey JamesMc,
I liked "The Rolling Sands" on "The Ponderous Foot.". This picture invokes quite specific steampunk impressions. I love steampunk. I think it's one of the fewest way to make technics artsy. (of course if there is more steam than punk  )

Thanks all for the compliments. Perhaps this month I'll be allowed in the final vote.

Was going to do my usual warped drawing, but couldn't see making the whole board room in a Ship's Accident Investigation board work in my mind. So, I'll just put the concept cartoon here.
