How to Model and Texture a Human Head and Body

Post by First Light »

Greetings,

Justin Barret (nowherebrain), a gifted trueSpace expert familiar to many long-time users, created a series of tutorials showing how to model and texture a human head and body using the Workspace Side of trueSpace 7.51. This course used to be available only to paying customers but Justin generously made it available for free earlier this year. It can be downloaded at the Scattered Pixel webpage of the True-Source Shop.

Note: Justin also created the same training course for Blender and it can be downloaded from the same webpage.

Best regards, First Light

What plugin/codec is required for video playback in the second (body) part of the tutorial? i can get audio but no video! :(

Attempted to play on: WMP, Realplayer, Quicktime, and Nero Showtime Essentials with no luck.

I had to go out and download a codec pack. They are free on the internet and contain multiple codecs in each pack. I think I downloaded the WIN XP Codec pack, and the tutorial worked after that.

I believe this should do the trick.

Thankyou Steinie! worked a charm :)

i usually dont have any trouble as i update all my codecs on a regular basis, and grab any extras i require but i just could not for the life of me find the right one for these - didnt help that i wasnt even getting any errors - except from WMP, which as usual wasnt very specific or helpful
