Saying Good-Bye

Post by spacekdet » 16 Mar 2016, 17:08

If transmissions from Spacekdet Station have been silent recently there is a reason.

I'ts been a rough couple of years.
No matter what your age,(and I'm no spring chicken) it's not easy to come to grips with the fact that you are now an orphan.
After being a caregiver for 17 years, now I have to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.

If your parents are still living, go pay them a visit, or make a phone call.
If they aren't - I guess you can welcome me to the club.

So long, Pops, give Mom a kiss for me.

My condolences sir.

Figure out what I want to be? You are what your parents surely hoped you would be. You are what you should be: a good man.

Our thoughts are with you and your family. I lost both parents back in 2005; still haven't really gotten over it yet. I guess you grieve and get on with life. Leroy.

You did a fantastic job taking care of your parents Spacekdet! Not many of us could fill your shoes. Now I know where your love of the outdoors started and remains. We need more people like you! :bananathumb:

Sorry to hear that! I've gone through the same griefe in Oktober
when my last near relative died! I took care of my auntie till the last
day! :(
Well all you can do to get over it is work and work and helps you not
to constantly think about it!
Do come here more often.. 3d is a good pass time to get the
life juices to circulate again!

Saying something is hard during these times. I hope you are okay and can have many joy filled memories that will bring a smile your face. Memories are good, they help us filter life. Much love brother - prayers, blessings for you.

Spacekdet, I understand where you are coming from, and I am sorry for your loss.
My mother in law passed away April 26; she lived with us the past 16 years.
That is why I have been absent these past several months.
