Short Term Plans

Post by spacekdet »

Don't be a Twit(ter), post your short term plan here!

Almost out of coffee; have to make a trip to Costco to get more.

If the wind picks up again, I might take the sailboat out.

I'll probably go see Transformers tonight. I should save my movie money for District 9 but I'll just be irresponsible and see that too. I think I'll see District 9 whenever it is in the theater ... have to check what earlier viewers say.

Edit: Saw it. It was fun but too long. I went to the theater to see the special effects on the big screen. I found that the motion blur removed a lot of the detail and clarity from the bots. The blur was needed with all the action but still ... When I could see the detail there was too much of it. Impressive modeling etc. though. The recent Star Wars movies were like that too but with too complicated textures. Looks like District 9 is a don't-pay-money to see it movie. Maybe when it is on TV.

I've got a week to prep the house and grounds for a family reunion that somebody (not me) thought would be a good idea to hold here at the house.

They're coming by plane, train, and automobile and somehow I have to keep them fed and entertained.

God I hope it doesn't rain.
