Re: Song Of The Day
Not long after I posted yesterday the doorbell rang.
A Boy Scout was there selling, you guessed it, popcorn as a fundraiser activity.
Lucky for both of us it was payday.
PS
Amazon.com's 'free song of the day' yesterday was by Trapt.
(Former lead guitar player: Simon Ormandy, son of that other famous Ormandy.)
I'm sure Kevin Bacon fits in here somehow.
PPS:
This day in 1976 sure was weird when this made it to #1 on the music charts:

its no wonder us oldies are so feck up really
Two songs I loath with a passion from that era are Love is in the Air John Paul Young and Oops Upside Your Head the Gap Band.
Radio Tees must of had shares in Love in in the Air as it seemed to be on every ten minutes, and I'd just started working for the boss from hell, the Gap Band was the song that got stuck in my head the first time I got drunk ..
You can't beat the sixties, 70's and early 80's for fun, bizzare music, something that's lacking now
