LE, scripting, a small entry tutorial

Post by Emma »

*** this is a copy of the entry I placed into the Caligari forum
*** since this topic was empty I hope it get's others curious to start play around with scripting

As I'm working through scripting I write down things so something similar like a tutorial comes out.
Don't know if this is of any interest for others, so to find out just publish first part, waiting for any coments!

This came out with help of other forum members and of course the Caligari people, thanks to all of them. Would be nice if this encourages others to dive into scripting and give their experiences back to the community in this forum.

The attached file is a PDF file that I had to pack since there is a filesize limit for PDF. My mother language is german, so don't wonder if things are somtimes expressed a little unenglish  .

This looks interesting, I'll take a look shortly.

Emma,

I am also interested in scripting. I downloaded your file, but cannot open it, Winzip says that it is corrupt. I tried re-downloading but did not help.
Has anyone else had a problem opening the file or is it just something going on with my computer?

Thanks, Wally

Thanks for this tutorial! It has paved ways to scripting ideas later! I'll be working on making it of use, as I'll be needing to script to do a number of things. Thanks!
