I want to help my girlfriend's 12 year old play a game with his friend that lives locally for free.
Ideas? How to(s)? Games? He likes Minecraft on his Xbox 360 but we do not want to have to pay.
Help with playing games with friends?

Send his ass outside and tell him don't come back until the streetlight comes on!
Re: Help with playing games with friends?
We are soooooooooooo alike! Except we do not have street lights.

You can't spend $19 buying a used copy of Minecraft from Gamestop?
Re: Help with playing games with friends?
Are you suggesting to by the PC version of Minecraft?
I guess there is no other way except paying for a Xbox Live subscription.

Yeah, if all you've got is an Xbox you'll be better off going for a PC version of Minecraft because the Xbox live subscription is (as far as I know) the only way to play multiplayer games.
Well there is always split-screen, do modern games even still have that on consoles? I've never owned a game console in my life so I have no idea.

We had to by an HDMI cable for the split screen.
