Re: Robot Head

Here is a new image, you will notice the addition of 2 new joints in the legs.
This will be changing once again as the hip joints will get changed from twist to lean.
Also the feet have changed to look like shoes and have a little more weight/stability to them.

Re: Robot Head

Thank you for the compliments I appreciate it. They name is Retro-Boy, you will see with the next set of pictures that I upload that he has a chest with his initials like superman did on it. Re: Robot Head

Currently it has 11 servos that are being controlled using an Arduino Nano and a Sensor shield. The unit is powered using 2 3.7v 1400 mAH batteries (Lipo). Currently working on designing new feet that look like it is wearing shoes and a chest plate to cover the batteries. Walks really well going for...

Slicing Software

Wanted to find out if anyone else has run into the same thing. Using Cura you load your model and then setup all your parameters. Upon doing so it tells you how long it will take to print. When printing anything past 10 hours it is not correct. Several prints have said 11 or 12 + hours but actually ...

Re: Most Popular Software for 3D Printing

I have to be honest I have never used 123D, I am familiar with Lightwave,Poser and 3D Studio Max but other than 3D Studio non of them offer STL export. My work flow for printing is like this. 1) Design in TS 2) Export out as 3DS file. 3) Import 3DS into Sketchup 4) In Sketchup do final inspection an...
