Busy with work. I think the black part is a camera mount because the screw and textured pad are common for camera mounts. I still think the white part is motorized to move the camera. If separate then I'll guess the black part goes on a tripod. With the white part and some unseen parts I'll guess it...

@borgcone is that a new what is it? I think it is a camera mount for smoothly moving the camera. Guessing white box has batteries, electric motor, and wifi or something to be controlled by a phone. Yep it is a combination pistol grip and tripod for cameras. There is a red button on each side. Press them together to move the tripod legs and camera mount....
