The staying power of Truespace is incredible!
Don't really make stuff for Battlezone II like I did in the past, but still use TS Beta 8 almost every day at home and work. I figure I've created more then a thousand models and props for the game to date and still find using TS for new models and props a really enjoyable experience. I've yet to fi...

Re: Question about t6.6 physics & animation?
I'll give creating a new clip for each animation a try thanks. I also figured out that physics animations require that they not touch other objects as this pops up a message about intersection of objects affecting the simulation. My propellers had to be moved away a bit and this stopped the message ...

Re: NH90 NATO Frigate Helicopter
I've seen this myself when I used to export models for conversion to other model formats. What I found out through trial & error was that some models needed to be triangulated to get these models to load correctly in some applications. It seems that high poly models cause issues with some model ...

Question about t6.6 physics & animation?
When I group animations together the key frame data is lost in the process. When I group objects and do physics animations the whole group rotates rather then the actual objects in the group that had physics applied to them, i.e., propeller objects to say an aircraft fuselage in the group. Am I miss...

Re: TS6.6 Physics for prop rotation works good
Wow, I realized to change in TS 6.6 the arrow pointer can be selected to change the axis rotate direction; it turns from green to white when selected and then I can left click and drag to the new desired direction and it changes the rotation from horizontal to vertical rotation. Thanks, for posting ...

TS6.6 Physics for prop rotation works good
Hey ya all. Been trying to figure out a way to do propeller animations and I can do it all easily now using the rotational physics tools on the TS modelside of TS7.61b. Apparently, the tool auto key frames the entire process! Was preoccupied with other life issues forcing a break in using TS for muc...

Re: Bforartists 2 Alpha 0.1.0 released
Apparently there's an issue with having to have an open GL 3.3. compatible graphics card installed. Tried on install on 2 different systems with no luck?

To Stream or to Stream a whole lot more?!
Some time back I went an bought a basic Roku box after upgrading from dialup to basic high speed. I wasn't even sure if it would even work on a basic Wifi router, but low an behold even Netflix basic was running quite surprisingly without any buffering and Youtube ran pretty well too. I got rid of D...

Re: Vectary 3D
Sounds pretty interesting and seems reasonably priced. The community could use it to work together on projects. Rayman, did mention something about using software that would allow others to have a common application to share together. I'll add the site to my favorites and see if it might be useful. ...

Re: Where can I download truespace 6.6 ?
7.61 has 6.6 available by selecting the Modelside or 6.6 tab when 7.61 loads up.
