Re: What are you doing?
... I do not see many comments on real projects and achievements. I feel like I live in a world of students with no real purpose and I have no age for that ... Sometimes I feel like this site has become text driven ... never shows ANYTHING they are doing ... It is disheartening ... You're right - b...

Re: wireless router question
Hi jeffroig,
I agree with everything except WEP! This is known since several years as a relatively unsecure encryption algorythm, that can be hacked in a second.
I can recommend to use WPAII or at least the older standard WPA only.
Best Regards

Re: wireless router question
Hi froo, though I'm late, no prob to use this WLan-Router for connecting all computers in your house - you only have to try if the connection is strong enough. But there arises a serious problem with internet&internal connection at the same time, because WLan-Routers usually only serve one IP-ad...

Re: Nurbs Workspace Plugin Thread
Yes, I think the approach to leave it, is the right one for now. Perhaps next month or one after that, you're just taking a shower or doing something else not thinking of that mess ... happy for a new sunny day - suddenly you'll get kicked by a genius idea ... That is often the way it works. By the ...

Re: Nurbs Workspace Plugin Thread
Hi froo, metoometoometoo (hey a new song of mine) (sounds kind of Japanese?) :? But seriously I'd use it too - since I'm using Bezier-Splines in 2-D graphics from old atariST- & x286-times on. They've gotten one of the essentials of a good design-tool for me - more than ever in 3D. As ...

Hi, coming back with good news - promised I'll let you know about my research "exchangeable SD-Cardreader". Today I tried out one of my multi-cardreaders and put my lincense SD-Card in - messiah up & running! Evidently the program doesn't care about the reader at all. So everyone using...

Re: PMG- Dare to Share... promotion
Hi, got my email last night too - created my license - messiah up & running :D For those who're still interested in using a SD-Card for the license file, like I have done: As I threw in my question already on pg22, concerning the use of a SD-Card in conjunction with a Cardreaderstrick and its po...
