Re: TrueSpace and KeyShot
Thanks to my work for a training company I managed to get an education licence of Keyshot ! And I must update the comment above from 2015 year : today, in 2024, Keyshot has become a very mature product and a pretty companion for trueSpace. No more crashes at loading trueSpace objects. It takes benef...

Re: Refine the interval between each frame
Good trick ! When editing curves, we can move and lenghtening one handle independently of the other pressing CTRL+LM button. I wonder why Caligari developper never allowed the option to edit paths in the same way ; this may have brought the ability to adjust acceleration/decceleration before/after a...

Re: Refine the interval between each frame
Here is an animated cube.
I added a keyframe between keyframe 2 and keyframe 3. Adding keyframes on an existing path tends to generate acceleration/decceleration issues.

Re: Refine the interval between each frame
Unless I am missing something, none of the Spline Parameters helps to refine the distance between frames on either side of the keyframe.
From my testing, neither Tension, Continuity or Bias affect the acceleration/deceleration issue that occurs sometimes.
How did you make it to equal smooth ?

Re: tS7.61 Modelspace D3D Fails on High Resolution
Thanks for the feedback TB. What is your graphic card ? Here with a Radeon RX550 I get a quite decent OpenGL display. No out of memory issues in scenes with many texture files. Only these echoes when moving objects are annoying...and Vray extremely slow of course, but I only render using a pure wire...

Re: tS7.61 Modelspace D3D Fails on High Resolution
OpenGL supports high resolution but I notice it generates some artefacts when moving objects like on the capture below. It looks like refresh rate is too slow. Do all of you experience the same echoes when moving objects around in Modeler window OpenGL mode ? I wonder if some graphic cards are spare...

Using SubDivision layers in Modeler
TrueSpace's SubDivision tool let you create organic objects with soft corners by adding vertices on your model. subdivision tS66.jpg In trueSpace 7.6, this tool is broken though. When you right-clic to edit your mesh, you can't select any face, edge or vertice. The reason is because the 3d controls ...
