Re: Lightwave 10 CORE

Core was also supposed to be lightwave 10, a replacement for Modeler and Layout, but they didn't finish it on time. So now it's more like an 'extra', Modeler and Layout have both been upgraded but Core is where the program is headed for version 11 (they hope!)

I tried to carry on using Truespace but found it frustating on a windows 7 system. I've been using Lightwave 10 through the beta rele...

Re: Holiday

There are points where thr guide take you though a jumble of bushes and trees to find a huge building like a school that's been over grown. I heard (and saw video where a measurments was taken) that locations outside of main roads (which are decontaminated) are still pretty radioactive. Even 1 mete...

Re: Holiday

Hi All, Tried compling the HDR pics last night. Some have come out blury beacause i didn't have a tripod and it only take a small change in position over 3 pictures to create a problem. They could still be good for lighting, just not using in the background. bitkar: Chernobly is croweded, 1000 peopl...

Holiday

Hi Everyone, I've just got back from a holiday to poland and the ukraine. I stayed in Kracow and Kiev, visited Auschwitz- Birkenau (not really a holiday spot but eye opening) and went on a day trip to Chernobyl and Pripyat (again eye opening), it's amazing what happens to a city when people stop liv...

Re: When were you converted?

For me, it was when i was in college. I got my first computer and started playing with free versions of Bryce and truespace. I bought my first full copy of truespace in my last year of Uni, using it t omake a short animation for my final project.

No Problem, the third one (the ruined pillar) is a good one to start with. It's really simple but gives a great result.
