That about all I could find on it too.
I'd like to find a way to do a boolean subtraction of two objects so that when 3D printed they either fit together snugly or are able to move freely against each other. Any ideas?

On Fly Offset?
Something I've often wondered about over the years is the setting "On Fly Offset" in the booleans submenu. I assumed it was how many units the cut would take off outside of a boolean subtract operation, but honestly I have no idea what it's used for. I do alot of 3D printed parts and usual...

Re: Most Popular Software for 3D Printing
I've been using Truespace since version 2.0 and use it all the time for modeling for 3D printing. I love it's simplicity and intuitive interface that just makes more sense then some of the newer modeling programs available. Maybe I'm just used to the TS interface. The only complaint I have is when t...

Re: Slicing Software
Every slicer program you use will never come up with an accurate printing time regardless of which one it is. The reason why is because the calculations can't take into account the various minut settings every different printer has for things like Jerk, Acceration, Wipe, Coast, etc. These minut sett...

Adobe Illustrator AI Path Import problem
Ok.... here's the problem... I create a path in Photoshop and save it as an AI file, then when I try to import the path in TS 7.61b, I get these error messages... [ MsgBox Title: PostScipt Warning ] This Adobe Illustrator file requires resources with versions different than those available. Attempti...

Fixing Axis Rotation of all Subitems in a group
Ok... here's a new one I have been battling... Let's say you create a group of objects (let's say thin cubes) and you join them all together into a group. Now, when you take another cube and Object Intersect it with the group, the new object that is created, all the axis' rotation in each of the sub...

Stopping Shadows against walls
Ok... here's a problem I've been having, and I really don't know how to solve it. I want to take advantage of the global lighting environment... however, whenever I use a Global Environment light when I render if I have a wall against a floor, it casts a shadow on the wall itself. Now I know I can t...

Re: Defaults and layer settings problem
Well... now it's doing it again and this time what I did before doesn't work. Deleting the DEFAULT.CTX file doesn't work at all. It creates a new file but with the default libraries. This is gonna drive me crazy!

Material Panel Disappeared
Ok... here's a new one for ya'll... I got TS 7.61b installed on a Win7 machine. The panel where the Material Editor should be isn't there and whenever I try to bring it up by double clicking the palette icon, it doesn't open at all. I thought that maybe I closed down the panel and shrunk it down to ...
