.xls file creation without exel

I found a way to get the xls file made on line
step 1 : you need a hotmail skydrive
step 2: create Privs.xlsx on skydrive and download to your pc
step 3: http://www.zamzar.com/convert/xlsx-to-xls/"
do the conversion to .xls and send to your hotmail. download and put in /trueServe761B8 folder/Privs.xls
