2 last minute questions before TNL

hi, :bananahi:

2 questions -

1 - is there a way to save the text conversation that we type when we speak with one another in ourSpace? i have been cut-and-pasting into notepad which has worked. the problem is that i have to do it throughout the session because the text that is the oldest seems to dissappear as we speak (type) - my computer only shows about the last 10 minutes of typed text at a time before it goes off into cyberspace or beyond... does that make sense? is there any way to retreive all the text at the end of a shared space session?
i would like to have this because there is some valuable learning information in what everyone types...

2 - how do i jump into a maze or other space? i never seem to be able to do this! i want to get lost in a maze... what do i need to know?

1 - I dunno, I think that are no way... you need to copy and paste :|

2 - I didn't understand... you want to switch between spaces? It's just to change the port number... :?

Hi Patti!
To walk around, you have to enter FPN (First Person Navigation).
Push the button, then walk around using: W (forward) S (backward), A (left), D (Right).

hi leonregis, froo too,
in your tutorial - leonregis, share_03.jpg shows a picture that you say will AUTOMATICALLY take me to another port or scene - how do i do that?

I have not seen pic03 patti but, that may be by using a LinkBar, in the scene.

Ah, that is an scripted cube that make you go to other scene, but just some scenes have it... Froospace was, I think it has not now... :(

ok... since "TNL" is now officially "FNL" (friday night live) tonight, lol... I guess we all have time for a few last minute questions.... here are mine:

1) who's bringing the keg?

2) which portal are the pistachios in?

oh no! i just brought home the BIGGEST bag of pistachios i have ever seen - i wish i could push them through the wires to share them - i am sure there is enough for everyone.
too bad :( so sad :cry:

sending beer (what kind?) through the wires is well worth a try - i'll get my mug ready - should we all chip in to pay? :bananacheers:

by the way... i still have my #2 question unanswered...

i get into FPN mode and can navigate around but how do i jump into a maze (like there was at froo"s a few weeks ago). i try to jump in and just pass straight through the link bar. i thought with FPN turned on that i would collide with objects, not go through them. steinie was going to give me a helping hand and jump in with me when we all crashed (and went boom). what am i doing wrong? i want to drink cyber-beer and be amazed in a maze! :lol:

Hey Patti,
When you are in FPN mode your mouse buttons are being used for navigation.
So in order to use the 3D Button links, you would have to exit FPN mode and then select the link with your left mouse button. Here is a Maze you can get lost in offline. Be warned you will think you have entered the 1960's.
