Can I set the default units from meters to feet?

I'm able to to change the default mearsurement units from meters to feet on the MS of TS, but it always seems to default back to meters the next time I run TS. Is there some setting to save feet as the default for object and scene units? Thanks, Leroy. Grettings to all btw. I've been preoccupied with other things lately, but I'm beginning to get back in to model making again.

Change settings to feet.

File/ Preferences. Check 'Save State'

File/Save/Preferences.

File/Save/Scene

Should stick after restart.

However, reverts to meters with new scene.
Hard-coded in there somewhere. European programmers.

Thanks, I still struggle with the metric system being a silly American. ;)
